Dr Aislinn Drury BVSc

Aislinn grew up in the inner west of Sydney and had a passion for animals from a young age. She volunteered and worked at Taronga Zoo in high school, cementing a love for wildlife and exotic animals. She studied Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney, even completing a research project on tuberculosis in Elephants. After finishing university, she moved to a regional town in South Australia where she worked in mixed practice seeing domestic pets, farm animals but some other interesting animals including geckos, koalas and kangaroos! Aislinn spent 3 years working in South Australia and travelling the beautiful state before moving back home to Sydney earlier this year. She then spent a few months working casually at several small animal clinics across Sydney before starting at Potts Point Veterinary Hospital.

Aislinn has an energetic but snuggly Scottish Deerhound cross called Fly. After performing a DNA test, Fly was shown to be a combination of multiple breeds including Greyhound, Mastiff, Boxer and Bull Terrier!

Outside work, Aislinn enjoys hiking, taking Fly for bushwalks, reading and cross stitching.
