Olivia Culver, RVN BSc Hons

I have always wanted to be a Vet Nurse, and 16 years on, I am still really passionate about the industry and looking after my furry patients!

My Vet nursing career started in 2006 in the UK, where I trained and worked in a mixed animal practice for five years.  After a stint of locum work, I was lucky to travel with my Vet Nursing. I spent eight months volunteering in South Africa with Cheetah's and in Botswana, working for a fabulous charity that spends its time between the clinic and visiting local villages neutering the dogs and cats. I was fortunate enough to experience the local life and see some incredible wildlife during my time in Botswana, and I would love to return one day.

I moved to Australia in 2014 and spent my first two years travelling and exploring this beautiful country. A 3-month stint working on an outback cattle station in the middle of the Northern Territory also gave me a real insight into real rural Australia, which was an incredible experience.
I was fortunate enough to get a permanent residency through my last vet clinic, where I worked for six years and have recently just become a citizen!

I have recently started working with the lovely team at Potts Point Vet and am looking forward to meeting the local pets and their pet parents!
